The HY-GUARD EXCLUSION® Flush Mount VentGuard™ is an aesthetically-pleasing, worry-free dryer vent cover that stops birds, mice, squirrels, and other wildlife from nesting in your dryer vent. They're available in multiple color variations, with and without a collar, and in both single units and ProPaks (6 units with collar / 10 units without collar).

Product Description

An integrated magnetic catch keeps the Flush Mount VentGuard’s™ louver-style flap closed until the dryer is powered on. When in use, the dryer’s exhaust overpowers the magnetic force and pushes the flap open, allowing hot air to flow optimally from the dryer. While the flap is opened, the patented, code-compliant internal bird guard serves the dual purpose of locking out nuisance wildlife while allowing dryer lint to exit, reducing your risk of a dryer fire. The bird guard is removable to allow for dryer vent cleaning and maintenance.
